1. Organizer and entry period
The competition is organised by Gübelin AG, headquartered in Lucerne, Switzerland, and runs from 25 September 2025 (00:00 CET) until 05 October 2025 (23:59 CET). By entering the competition, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions. Entries submitted outside this period will not be considered.
2. Eligibility & how to enter
The competition is open to natural persons aged 18 years or older. Participation is open worldwide, subject to any local legal restrictions. Entry is free of charge; no purchase is necessary. Employees of Gübelin AG, its partners, and their immediate family members are excluded from participation.
To participate, entrants must:
1) Take a selfie in the Gübelin Diamond Photo Box on the ZFF premises.
2) Share the photo as an Instagram story or feed post, tag @gubelinjewellery, include the hashtag #MyGubelinMoment, and follow @gubelinjewellery.
The participant’s Instagram profile must be public so that the entry can be viewed.
Only entries fulfilling all requirements will be considered. Each participant can win a maximum of one prize per competition.
3. Prizes
First prize:
One (1) Sparks bracelet with diamonds, valued at CHF 10,800.
Second to fifth prize:
Each winner will receive one (1) Gübelin coffee table book and one (1) ticket for entrance to the Gübelin Gem Museum in Lucerne. Prizes will be shipped free of charge to the address provided by the winners or can be picked up at one of our Boutiques. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
4. Winner selection & notification
Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries. Winners will be notified exclusively via direct message from the official Instagram account @gubelinjewelleryon October 10th 2025.
If a winner does not respond within 3 days, a new winner will be selected with the same method.
5. Data protection
Personal data (name, surname, email address, postal address, date of birth) will be used solely for the purpose of running and administering the competition (including winner selection, notification, and prize delivery). Data will be stored only as long as necessary and will be shared with third parties solely for fulfilment of the competition. By participating, entrants consent that Gübelin may re-share their submitted content (Instagram Stories / photos) on its official social media channels, always crediting the participant’s Instagram handle.
6. Exclusion from participation
Competition clubs and automated competition services are not eligible to participate. Gübelin reserves the right to exclude individuals from participation if there are justified reasons – e.g. violation of these Terms & Conditions or attempted manipulation – and reserves the right to take legal action.
7. No connection to Meta
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta (Facebook/Instagram). Facebook and Instagram are not recipients of the information provided by participants. Gübelin releases Facebook and Instagram from any third-party claims arising in connection with this competition and is not liable for technical malfunctions or failures of the Instagram platform.
8. Right to modify or terminate
Gübelin may adapt the competition at any time or terminate it for good cause, particularly if the proper execution can no longer be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons.
Legal recourse is excluded. Jurisdiction is Lucerne, Switzerland. Swiss law applies.
